Pressure Activated Sealant
NOSSB in association with SEAL-TITE INTERNATIONAL have restored production for numerous Clients in Malaysia using a unique pressure activated sealants that are designed to seal leaks in wells and hydraulic systems.
The sealants are unique in a way that a pressure drop across the leak site causes the sealant fluids to polymerize into a flexible solid bond. Only at this point of
differential pressure will sealant polymerization process occur. As the reaction proceeds, the polymerized sealant plates out on the edges of the leak and
simultaneously bridges across the leak to seal it. The resulting seal is a flexible bond across the leak site. The remainder of the sealant remains liquid.
